FIELD: powder metallurgy, composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular to the production by impregnation of a porous frame of composite materials having high electrical conductivity, antifriction properties, resistance in aggressive environments. A porous carbon-graphite billet is placed in a solution of a copper electrolyte and vacuum degassing is carried out. After that, a two-layer electroplating is applied to it, containing an inner copper layer and an outer layer containing, weight percentage: 99 tin and 1 bismuth. The outer layer of the electroplating is applied by electrolysis from an electrolyte containing 35 g/l of tin sulfate, 1.5 g/l of bismuth sulfate, 170-180 g/l of sulfuric acid, 5-6 ml/l of formalin, 50-60 ml/l of the gloss-forming additive “ECOMET L6”. The blank with the applied coating is placed in the impregnation chamber, 2/3 filled with aluminum alloy melt, the chamber is filled with aluminum alloy melt and the porous blank is impregnated under the influence of excessive pressure due to thermal expansion of the melt when heated above the aluminum alloy liquidus temperature.
EFFECT: quality of composite materials is improved.
