FIELD: metallurgy
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to creation of composite materials by impregnation of a porous frame. The method for producing a carbon graphite composite material includes vacuum degassing of a porous carbon graphite workpiece in a solution of copper electrolyte. A two-layer galvanic coating containing an inner copper layer is applied to the workpiece. The porous workpiece is impregnated with a melt of a matrix lead alloy under the impact of excessive pressure due to the thermal expansion of the melt when heated above the liquidus temperature of the lead alloy. The outer layer of the galvanic coating is therein made of a tin-bismuth layer consisting of 99 wt.% of tin and 1 wt.% of bismuth applied by electrolysis from an electrolyte containing 35 g/l of tin sulphate, 1.5 g/l of bismuth sulphate, 170 to 180 g/l of sulphuric acid, 5 to 6 ml/l of formalin, 50 to 60 ml/l of the brightening additive "ECOMET -L6".
EFFECT: improved quality of the composite materials.
