FIELD: marine geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to marine geophysics. A method for obtaining samples of bottom soil in marine research is disclosed, which consists in submerging a mechanical device to the bottom, which provides for taking a certain volume of soil from the bottom surface at the sampling point, and raising it to the surface. At the same time, the soil is simultaneously taken at several points located several tens of meters away, and the selection is carried out using gliders on conducting ropes wound on coils that move the gliders along the ground to the central sampling device, while the gliders are both a means of sampling and a transport for delivering soil.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the productivity of marine geophysical research.
