FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used to obtain through deep holes of small diameter with increased accuracy characteristics in body parts made of deformable materials. The method includes electrical discharge machining, which is performed by piercing a deep hole of small diameter with a tubular capillary electrode-tool with pumping a working fluid through its inner cavity under pressure. The hole is made in relation to the technological bases, previously made in the manufacture of the body part blank, and is carried out in stages. At the first stage, by means of the specified electrical discharge machining, a preliminary rough hole of a given depth is pierced the ratio of which to the diameter is 68. At the second stage, the workpiece is annealed at a temperature of 310-330°C for 2-4 hours with the workpiece being cooled naturally for 1-2 hours and subsequent ultrasonic washing. At the third stage, the hole is finished on an electric discharge wire-cutting machine, which is carried out with an electrode-tool in two passes with a given step and processing speed.
EFFECT: quality and productivity of processing increases.
