FIELD: agriculture, cattle farming in particular.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to the industry of beef cattle breeding to improve the productive qualities of young cattle. A method for increasing the digestibility of the nutritional components of the feed of young cattle is proposed, in which the diet of calves of 8 months of age includes a protein component in the form of soy meal with the inclusion of ultrafine Cr2O3 particles of 91 nm in size at a dosage of 200 mcg/kg of live animal weight once a day during the growing period of 14 days.
EFFECT: invention contributes to increased stimulation of the digestibility of nutrients in the protein diet, namely, it makes it possible to increase the digestibility of organic matter by 9.6%, crude protein by 2.7%, crude fat by 13.8%, crude fiber by 5.2%, contributing to increased live weight of calves by 7%.
