DEVICE FOR SIMULATING DEPRESSURIZATION OF COCKPIT OF MANNED AIRCRAFT Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC B64G7/00

Abstract RU 2752117 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of general mechanical engineering and can be used for sharp (instant) creation of a rarefied medium inside a chamber that simulates altitude flight factors by bypassing the medium from the chamber into an adjacent vessel or container with predetermined pressure of the medium. The device consists of a housing (1), consisting of interconnected upper (2) and lower (3) rings of the L-shaped cross-section, and is equipped with a clamping ring (4). The clamping ring (4) is located in a blind groove (5) of the L-shaped section formed by the connection of the upper (2) and lower (3) rings of the housing (1) of an L-shaped cross-section between themselves, and forms an annular piston pair with the upper ring (2) of the housing (1). In the lower ring (3) of the body (1), holes (6) are made for connecting the control pipeline (7). On the side of the open end of the blind groove (5) of the L-shaped section formed by the connection of the upper (2) and the lower (3) rings of the housing (1) of the L-shaped cross-section between each other, a flexible membrane (10) is placed, equipped with a sealing profile, made in the form of at least one convex concentric ring (11). In the supporting flexible membrane (10) surfaces of the housing (1) and the pressure ring (4), profiled grooves (12) are made, corresponding to the profiled surface of the concentric ring (11) of the sealing profile and interacting with it to hold the membrane (10). The housing (1) is equipped with a sealing profile (13), which provides compression behind the piston space and is installed in the blind groove (5) of the L-shaped section formed by the connection of the upper (2) and lower (3) rings of the housing (1) of the L-shaped cross section between each other and located between the clamping ring (4) and the lower ring (3) of housing (1).

EFFECT: increasing reliability of the device operation and increasing its maintainability.
