FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a holding element (1) for a side window (I) of a vehicle, including: a first attachment section (3.1) and a first adjoining section (2.1) connected thereto for attachment to a first surface (Ia) of the side glass (I), a second attachment section (3.2) and a second adjoining section (2.2) connected thereto for attachment to a second surface (Ib) of the side glass (I), wherein the first attachment section (3.1) and the second attachment section (3.2) opposite to the adjoining sections ( 2.1, 2.2) are interconnected through a hinge section (4) so that the first attachment section (3.1) with the first adjoining section (2.1) and the second attachment section (3.2) with the second adjoining section (2.2) are rotatable relative to each other allowing the holding element (1) to be opened and closed, wherein in the closed state the attachment sections (3.1, 3.2) are adjoined flat and combined are intended for attachment to the vehicle and the adjoining sections (2.1, 2.2) are intended for attachment to the two opposite surfaces (Ia, Ib) of the side glass (I).
EFFECT: production of a holding element for a side window of a vehicle.
