FIELD: heat exchange equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat exchange equipment and can be used for cleaning high-temperature dusty gases. The device contains a vertical body with a cover, gas inlet and outlet pipes and a device for removing solid particles. The upper cylindrical part of the body is equipped with two inlet pipes - cooled and cooling gases, introduced in one plane, tangentially from opposite directions. The diameters of the branch pipes are the same and equal to 0.43 of the body diameter. The height of the cylindrical part of the body is equal to 1.5-2.0 of its diameter. The lower part of the body has the shape of a cone and is equipped with a chamber for collecting solid particles with a sluice device for their unloading. Inside the cylindrical part of the body, a converging pipe for the outlet of the cooled gas mixture is coaxially located, the inlet cut of which is located at a distance of 0.3-0.7 times the diameter of the cylindrical part of the body vertically from the axis of the inlet pipes and has a diameter of 0.7-0.9 times the diameter of the cylindrical part. The cooling gas branch pipe is equipped with a regulating device with a fan.

EFFECT: invention provides high-speed, about 1500°C/s, cooling of gases with their simultaneous cleaning from solid particles.
