FIELD: heat exchange technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat exchange technology, methods and devices for the environmentally safe thermal destruction of solid medical waste containing organochlorine components, and can be used in processes with waste high-temperature dusty gases. The solved technical problem: high-speed, up to 1500°C/s, gas cooling with its simultaneous dedusting. A method for solving the technical problem: cooling of a dusty high-temperature gas is carried out by its interaction with a cold gas flow in the mode of vortex interaction of two counter-displaced swirling flows, during which the trajectory of the cooled gas mixture is arranged in the form of a narrowing, rotating vortex flow, which ensures the separation of solid inclusions from it due to centrifugal forces. The device that ensures the achievement of the expected result contains a vertical housing with a lid, gas inlet and outlet pipes and a solid particle outlet device. The upper cylindrical part of the housing is equipped with two inlet pipes for cooled and cooling gases, introduced in the same plane, tangentially from opposite directions. The diameters of the nozzles are the same and equal to 0.43 of the diameter of the housing. The height of the cylindrical part of the body is equal to 1.5-2.0 of its diameter. The lower part of the body has the shape of a cone and is equipped with a solid particles collection chamber with a sluice device for unloading them. Inside the cylindrical part of the housing, the confuser of the outlet of the cooled gas mixture is coaxially located, the inlet section of which is located at a distance of 0.3-0.7 of the diameter of the cylindrical part of the housing vertically from the axis of the inlet pipes and has a diameter of 0.7-0.9 of the diameter of the cylindrical part. The cooling gas pipe is equipped with a regulating device with a fan.

EFFECT: high-speed, up to 1500°C/s, gas cooling with its simultaneous dedusting.
