FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-fighting equipment, mainly to extinguishing a fire with inert gases in closed rooms of special fortifications. In the event of a fire in one (or several) of the rooms 2 and the appearance of smoke, a fire detector 10 located in this room 2 is triggered, and a signal is sent from it to the control unit 12. From the control unit 12, the control signal is sent to the drive of the shut-off valve 9 of the distribution line 8 for the supply of compressed nitrogen and to the drive of the shut-off valve 17 of the flue gas discharge line 15, which are located in the room 2 with the fire source. This control signal gives the command to open the shut-off valve 9 of the distribution line 8 and the shut-off valve 17 of the flue gas discharge line 15. As a result of the opening of the shut-off valve 9 of the distribution line 8, compressed nitrogen from the compressed nitrogen storage unit 6 is fed through the compressed nitrogen gas supply line 7 through the distribution line for supplying compressed nitrogen 8 to the room 2 with the fire source, while it is fed at the lower level at the floor surface through the nitrogen outlet holes 19. Flue gases from the burning room 2 are sucked through the intake device 16 at the ceiling level of the room 2 and along the flue gas discharge line 15 enter the exhaust pipe 13, from which, with the help of a compressor 14, they are removed from the special fortification 1 by the outlet 18 located in the shaft 4 of the structure 1, into the environment.
EFFECT: increased speed of extinguishing a fire inside an isolated room, reliability and safety of the operation of the gas fire extinguishing system, as well as the speed of cleaning the internal volume of the isolated room from flue gases after burning ceases.
