FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a direct-flow louver fly ash collector. The direct-flow louver fly ash collector is mounted above the inlet of a heat exchange apparatus in the convection section of a boiler and consists of a row of parallel slats arranged into a grid and mounted in the gas and ash flow. The slats are made hollow, arrow-shaped, mounted on a frame angled in the direction of the gas and ash flow, with slits on the surface facing the incoming gas and ash flow. Said slits have entrances mounted flush into the hollow cavity of a slat with the top end of the arrow-shaped slat in its middle and both halves of the slats angled from the center out. There are cylinder bushings on the outer ends of the slats mounted for rotation on the fly ash collector walls, and the slats are connected to a rod that directs reciprocating motion from an outer oscillator. The inner cavities of the slats are connected through hollow stems with ash collection tanks on the edge of the frame connected in series through ash transporters with outer ash collecting communication lines of the boiler.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is dynamic stability and deceleration of the fly ash flow into a heat exchange apparatus, as well as increased constructability and maintainability when fly ash stopping elements need to be replaced without the pipes of a heat exchange apparatus being destroyed.
