FIELD: medicine; public health; sports medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to public health and sports medicine, it is intended to determine the performance level of an athlete. To implement the method, saliva is examined using bioluminescent analysis. The value of the maximum intensity of the sample glow I0 (without saliva) and Ik0, Ik (saliva samples before and after physical activity) are measured. The value of the residual glow Lk0 and Lk is calculated: before physical activity Lk0=Ik0-I0 (%); and after physical activity Lk=Ik-I0 (%). Then, the glow inhibition index Ii (the difference between the intensity of the glow before physical activity and the glow after physical activity, %) is calculated using the formula Ii=Lk0-Lk. If Ii is from +10% to -10% inclusive, a high performance of the athlete is observed. If Ii is from -10% to -50%, the performance level of the athlete is reduced (indicates a decrease in the training effectiveness).
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of identifying the performance level of an athlete.
