FIELD: technological processes; metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for surfacing the working surfaces of parts of metallurgical equipment, which are subject to increased requirements for hardness and wear resistance. Charge of flux-cored wire contains components in the following ratio, by weight: carbon 0.01–0.6, manganese 0.6–4.4, silicon 0.4–2.0, chromium 0.7–13.0, molybdenum 0.1–8, tungsten-containing concentrate 0.10–4.8, vanadium 0.3–2.5, aluminium 0.15–1.0, nickel 0.01–7, aluminum dust electrostatic precipitators 1–15, cobalt 0.01–6, rest is iron.
EFFECT: due to the optimization of the chemical composition of the charge, provides an improvement in the quality of the weld metal layer, including an increase in its wear resistance and hardness, and a reduction in the damage caused by cracks and pores.
