FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for surfacing with flux cored wire under restoration during the restoration of worn parts and the production of a wear-resistant protective coating on parts of metallurgical equipment. Charge of flux-cored wire contains components in the following ratio, by weight: carbon 0.5–1.5; manganese 1.87–3.43; silicon 1.25–3.13; chromium 6.87–10.94; molybdenum 0.1–0.5; tungsten-containing concentrate 43.89–57.56; vanadium 0.62–1.25; aluminium 0.1–0.15; nickel 0.01–0.6; cobalt 0.01–0.5; aluminum dust electrostatic precipitators 0.5–10; iron – balance.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the operational properties of the weld metal, in particular wear resistance at high temperatures, by optimizing the chemical composition of the charge, reducing the hydrogen content and reducing the contamination of the deposited layer with nonmetallic inclusions.
