SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computing. A method for writing sector data into the cache memory of a solid-state drive (SSD), in which the SSD contains a controller, which includes a temperature detector, an encoder, a sector cache control module and a sector cache for storing N sectors, while saving the sector data intended for storing or rewriting them into the SSD memory or for reading them from the SSD memory, by the sector cache control module into the sector cache, and the sector information is stored in a sector cache control module having a cache memory for storing N elements containing sector information, in which such information contains the logical address of a sector stored in the sector cache, and contains an indication that the sector stores data intended for the host , and/or the sector is read by the garbage collector, which deletes the page data from the SSD, the sectors of which were overwritten, and is intended for rewriting to the SSD.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of using a solid-state drive (SSD) by promptly reading sector data stored in the SSD controller.
