SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio-electronic equipment (REA), namely, to methods for sealing low-frequency connectors of electrical harnesses and cables, and can be used in the design of low-frequency sealed cable connector assemblies to ensure increased reliability of their operation. The method for sealing low-frequency connectors of electrical harnesses and cables consists in filling the connectors without casing by filling the space between the wires after mounting the connector with a compound when placing the connector with wires in a mold, before placing the connector with wires in the mold, the wires and part of the connector are degreased from the wire placement side, while the filling is performed in two stages, which are based on the combined use of elastic and rigid sealants of various viscosities, at the same time, at the first and second stages, the connector is filled with a sealant under certain conditions.

EFFECT: ensuring high-frequency tightness of low-frequency connectors, improving their operational and technical characteristics.
