FIELD: experimental medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental medicine, hygiene and general toxicology and can be used to study the mechanisms of the toxic action of products of chemical transformation of heavy metals with flotation reagents, namely, coordination compounds of cadmium with cyanide ions. A method for modeling toxic damage to the spleen in experimental animals includes the formation of a model by administering to rats an aqueous solution of a complex salt of cadmium cyanide (II). The solution is administered intragastrically to animals at the rate of 1.0 mg/kg of animal weight in terms of metal once a day for one month to form chronic intoxication.
EFFECT: invention provides high selectivity of lesion of the spleen in experimental animals under the influence of a solution of a complex salt of cadmium cyanide (II).
