FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for grinding materials and namely to linings of semi-autogenous grinding drum mills and can be used in ball mills. The lining of drum mills is composite. It is made of base plates with protrusions and recesses. A central rib is made in the center of the base plate. Gussets are made perpendicular to the central rib and the plane of the base plate. The recesses are formed by gussets installed perpendicular to the central rib and the plane of the base plate, while the recesses are sized and proportioned to ensure that the balls are jammed in them for the effect of self-lining. Longitudinal stiffening ribs are made at opposite edges of the base plate. The central rib of the lining has mounting loops.
EFFECT: device allows the lining to prolong its useful period of service as well as to increase the overhaul cycle for replacing the lining.
