FIELD: wireless communication.
SUBSTANCE: to implement the method for ensuring association of a multimedia transmission session with the operator starting the multimedia transmission session in the infrastructure (150) of an Internet Protocol (IP)-based Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), the infrastructure (150) comprises User Equipment (UE) (100A) of the calling party, UE (100B) of the called party, a first track (111) configured to transmit a multimedia transmission session between the UE (100A) of the calling party and the UE (100B) of the called party via the gateway function unit (105A). In the process of establishing a multimedia transmission session, the IMS object (116A) retrieves the subscriber information, the information associated with calling the UE (100A) of the calling party. The infrastructure (150) executes the following stages: the IMS object (116A) provides the gateway function unit (105A) with an identifier associated with the call session of the UE (100A) of the calling party. The identifier identifies insertion of the signature of the session into the multimedia transmission session. The gateway function unit (105A) uses the identifier to compile the signature of the session and inserts the compiled signature of the session into the multimedia transmission session in the first track (111) so that the evaluation of the signature of the session ensures association of the multimedia transmission session with the operator starting the multimedia transmission session. The gateway function unit (105A) is comprised of a processing unit, receiver, processing, and insertion modules. Claimed is a machine-readable medium containing a computer program (603) for ensuring association of the multimedia transmission session with the operator starting the multimedia transmission session.
EFFECT: provided possibility of supporting inconsistent control plane and user plane traffic, due to detection of a specific signature of the multimedia transmission session and characteristics thereof.
