SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of technology for information processing, particularly to a method for sending power headroom (PH) report for a sounding reference signal (SRS). Disclosed is a method for sending an SRS headroom report, including: performing a calculation to obtain calculated SRS transmission powers for one or several SRS resources contained in a target SRS resource set, wherein the target SRS resource set constitutes a set of SRS resources on a target carrier or on a target bandwidth part (BWP); performing, in accordance with the assumed SRS transmission powers for one or several SRS resources, a calculation to obtain the power headroom (PH) for the target SRS resource set; and sending a PH report for the target SRS resource set obtained by means of calculation.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of the power headroom report (PHR) using one technique for calculating the power headroom (PH) for two multiplexing methods, namely TDM and FDM.
