FIELD: powder metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular to the production by impregnation of a porous frame of composite materials having high electrical conductivity, antifriction properties, resistance in aggressive environments. A porous carbon-graphite billet is placed in an electrolyte solution and vacuum degassing is carried out. After that, a galvanic coating is applied, consisting of, weight percentage: 80 copper and 20 tin. As an electrolyte solution, a composition containing 40 g/l of copper sulfate, 40 g/l of tin sulfate, 8 g/l of phenol, 70 g/l of sulfuric acid, 0.0005 g/l of thiourea is used. A carbon-graphite blank with a galvanic coating is placed in an impregnation chamber 2/3 filled with the melt of the matrix aluminum alloy at a temperature 15-20°C below the liquidus temperature of the aluminum alloy. The chamber is filled with a matrix alloy melt and the workpiece is impregnated under the influence of excessive pressure due to the thermal expansion of the melt when heated above the liquidus temperature of the aluminum alloy.

EFFECT: quality of the composite material is improved.
