FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to magnesium-based casting alloys intended for the manufacture of castings of parts of the internal set of an airframe, brackets, instrument housings, support housings, as well as parts of aggregates and engines operating at elevated temperatures of 150-250°C. The magnesium-based alloy contains, by weight percentage: 0.6-1.5 zinc, 0.6-1.3 zirconium, 0.0001-0.03 cadmium and/or calcium, 1.0-2.95 neodymium, 0.1-0.45 scandium and/or cerium, 0.5-4.7 gadolinium, 1.5-3.0 yttrium, magnesium being the rest.
EFFECT: increased ignition temperature, long-term strength at temperatures of 200-250°C while maintaining high values of the limit of short-term strength and density.
