FIELD: drilling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the drilling of wells. A side saddle-shaped self-lifting drilling rig contains right and left support bases located in parallel and at a distance from each other. The right support base contains the right lower pedestal and the first brace, pivotally attached to the floor of the drilling rig and to the right lower pedestal. The left support base contains the left lower pedestal and the second brace, pivotally attached to the floor of the drilling rig and to the left lower pedestal. The floor of the drilling rig contains V-shaped gate that defines the side of the floor of the drilling rig with V-shaped gate parallel to the right support base. The mast tower contains an open side defining the side of the mast tower with V-shaped gate. The open side is turned in the direction perpendicular to the right support base. The mast tower is pivotally attached to the floor of the drilling rig by means of one or more axes of rotation of the mast tower and one or more lower nodes of the mast tower attachment. The mast tower is made with the possibility of pivoting rotation in the direction parallel or perpendicular to the side with V-shaped gate of the drilling rig floor. The mast tower contains two or more assembly units. The upper assembly unit of the mast tower contains the upper section of the mast tower and the hoist block. The upper assembly unit of the mast tower is made with the possibility to be transported in such a way that the side with V-shaped gate of the upper section of the mast tower is perpendicular to the ground surface. The lower assembly unit of the mast tower contains the lower section of the mast tower and the upper drive. The lower assembly unit of the mast tower is made with the possibility of transportation in such a way that the side with V-shaped gate of the lower section of the mast tower is perpendicular to the ground surface. The method for transportation of the mast tower is claimed.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of transportation and installation of the drilling rig.
