The removable appliance (100) for a mobile manipulation apparatus (10) is comprised of an assembly unit (104) configured to be supported by the specified connection unit (38), a processing head (102) containing at least one tool, and a compensation apparatus (106) located between the assembly unit (104) and the processing head (102) and defining a longitudinal axis (246). The processing head (102) is configured to move relative to the assembly unit (104) in the longitudinal direction (160) along the longitudinal axis (246). The compensation apparatus (106) is configured to provide a preset contact pressure force applied by the processing head (102) to the treated surface within a preset operating range (172) along the longitudinal axis (246). Disclosed is a design of the corresponding manipulation apparatus (10).

EFFECT: increased productivity of material treatment and quality of the treated surface.
