FIELD: automatic control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of automatic control of the movement of trains on the tracks and stations. The system contains traffic lights on the side tracks of the stations, and on each of the locomotives involved in the control system, an on-board computer is installed, in the memory of which information is recorded about the electronic map of railway stations and tracks along which this locomotive is circulating, while the on-board computer is connected to the display, the power plant of the locomotive, the automatic locomotive system device with hitchhiking, with the on-board unit of the train radio communication system and with the on-board receiver of the satellite navigation system, the unit of the train radio communication system and the on-board receiver of the satellite navigation system are connected to the corresponding antenna units, on the locomotive a block of onboard video cameras is installed, the communication port of which is connected to the communication port of the onboard computer. The on-board computer is equipped with a memory module with a database of photographic images of traffic lights located on the side tracks of stations, a software module for intelligent recognition of signal readings of traffic lights, a software module for determining the time of turning on the photographing mode of an on-board video camera based on comparing the measured current coordinate of the locomotive and the coordinates of a traffic light located from the locomotive at a given line-of-sight distance, and a software module for displaying information about the signal indication of a traffic light on the display and generating a voice alert for the driver.
EFFECT: simplification of track equipment is achieved.
