FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a vertical landing vehicle, a system and a method for providing awareness of the situation for the vehicle operator. The vehicle and the awareness system for the vehicle operator contain a case forming a shell, at least one wing, a proximity sensor, and a flight control system. The vehicle is made with the possibility to provide awareness of obstacles at a given distance from the vehicle and its wing. The system is made with the possibility to provide awareness of the situation within a given distance from the perimeter of the vehicle shell and its wing. To ensure awareness, signals of the obstacle approach are received from the proximity sensor, and information about obstacles is provided by means of the processor of the control system and the operator interface.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of displaying obstacles relatively to the position of the vertical landing vehicle is provided.
