FIELD: animal husbandry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, veterinary microbiology and immunology. A strain of Histophilus somni bacteria B-1654 is deposited in the “All-Russian State Collection of Pathogenic and Vaccine Strains of Microorganisms-Pathogens of Animals’ Infectious Diseases” (Federal Research Center: All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Veterinary Medicine named after K. I. Scriabin and Ya. R. Kovalenko, the Russian Academy of Sciences) under the number B-1654. The strain can be used to produce mono- and polyvalent immunogenic compositions aimed at specific prevention of cattle histophylosis.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to expand the arsenal of strains intended for the production of mono- and polyvalent vaccines aimed at the specific prevention of infectious diseases of farm animals, with high stability, antigenic, immunogenic and protective activity.
