FIELD: optical and electronics industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the optical and electronic industry, in particular to the production of soluble optical core glass for the manufacture of fine-structured microchannel plates (MCP). The glass of a soluble core for fine-structured microchannel plates according to the invention contains components in the following ratio in wt. %: B2O3 50.9-52.9; BaO 16.4-18.2; Al2O3 12.4-12.6; K2O 7.5-9.0; CaO 5.1-6.1; SiO2 2.8-3.6; MgO 1.2-1.8.
EFFECT: maximum preservation of the rounded shape of the MCP channel, an increase in the viscosity of the glass of the soluble core of the MCP, a reduction in structural noise due to a more rounded shape of the channel and a significant increase in the threshold of the cellular structure.
