FIELD: caking of materials. SUBSTANCE: unit is composed from multiwire light guides. Unit member of the light guides has wire and envelope. Multiwire light guides are subjected to thermohydrogenic treatment and subsequent caking is carried out at pressing of the unit form all the sides in vacuum by means of application of external pressure due to pressed air through glass envelope smoothed when heating.
