FIELD: feed technology.
SUBSTANCE: use of a composition based on enzymes for increasing starch digestion and glycose yield in a ruminant is proposed. Moreover, the specified composition contains glucoamylase EC 3.2.1.3 enzyme derived from Trichoderma reesei or Aspergillus fumigatus. The specified glucoamylase has at least 20% activity at pH less than or equal to 3 in the presence of pepsin, compared to glucoamylase activity at pH of 6 in the presence of pepsin. The specified glucoamylase is active in at least two of three digestive chambers of a ruminant, including rumen, read stomach, and small intestine. The specified glucoamylase acts with digestive enzymes present in digestive chambers of a ruminant to provide an increase in starch digestion and glucose yield.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at an increase in starch digestion and glucose yield.
