SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a damping angle of a rail fastening. The damping corner of the rail fastening comprises a vertical shelf provided with a bottom side, an inner side, an outer side and an upper side, an inclined shelf provided with an inner side, a lateral outer side and an upper outer side, and a protrusion. In this case, the lower part of the vertical shelf has a length that makes it possible to install the lower side flush with the lower side of the rail foot and parallel to it, and the upper outer side of the inclined shelf contains a rounded recess with a length that allows only a part of the clamping section of the terminal to be placed in it and is limited by the upper side of the vertical shelves and the lateral outer side of the sloped shelf, respectively.
EFFECT: consumption of materials decreases, the service life of the damping angle and the entire rail fastening increases, their reliability and strength increase.
