METHOD FOR COOLING A TWO-DIMENSIONAL MATRIX OF LASER DIODES, A DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION AND A CONNECTOR Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC H01S5/02

Abstract RU 2754393 C1

FIELD: laser systems.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for cooling a two-dimensional matrix of laser diodes, to a device for implementing this method, and to a connector used in this method. The device for cooling a two-dimensional matrix of laser diodes, including two substrates, between which lines of laser diodes are installed parallel to each other with the formation of parallel channels for passing the coolant between adjacent lines of laser diodes, contains the first and second pipelines for supplying the coolant and the first and second pipelines for removing the coolant, and the first pipelines for supplying the coolant and the second pipelines for removing the coolant are connected alternately to one end of the parallel channels, and the first pipelines for removing the coolant and the second coolant supply pipelines are connected alternately to the other ends of parallel channels, the inputs of all coolant supply pipelines are connected to the output of the supply pump, the input of which is connected to the coolant reservoir equipped with a means of thermal stabilization, the outputs of all pipelines for removing the coolant are connected to the storage of spent coolant.

EFFECT: inventions provide the possibility of obtaining an increased radiation power of the laser diode matrix due to their more efficient cooling.
