SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measuring technology and can be used to determine the deformation of the lever of a delta robot, which manifests itself in the process of its movement. The method includes the use of a linear encoder, which is installed on one of the sides of the arm of the delta robot, while on the other side of the arm, an axis is fixed, which is located inside the linear encoder with the possibility of free movement, and the deformation of the arm of the delta robot is determined during its movement along the displacement of said axis relative to its original position inside the encoder.

EFFECT: allows simplifying the process of determining the deformation.
