SUBSTANCE: method for cancelling a scheduling request is comprised of: determining, by the apparatus, that a first scheduling request has been initiated; when a data block of the media access control protocol is sent and the data block of the media access control protocol comprises a first buffer status report, canceling, by the apparatus, the first scheduling request wherein the first buffer status report comprises a first buffer status and the first buffer status constitutes the buffer status until the last event initiating a buffer status report before data block of the media access control protocol is assembled. The first scheduling request is a scheduling request initiated prior to assembling the data block of the media access control protocol.
EFFECT: reduced data transmission delay.
