FIELD: woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the woodworking industry, in particular to a fire-protective composition for processing various wood products, a method for its production and application. The specified compositions contain an aqueous solution of bisphosphonate selected from 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonic acid, alkanolamine and, optionally, an alkaline agent, while the specified composition has pH in the range from 3.0 to 9.0. The specified composition can be obtained by mixing 30-50 wt. pt. of 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonic acid; from 1 to 10 wt. pt. of alkanolamine or its mixture, while the specified alkanolamine is added in free form; and, optionally, from 0.1 to 40 wt. pt. of an alkaline agent; and water.

EFFECT: flame-protective properties of the composition are improved.
