FIELD: metrology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metrology, particularly to methods for monitoring bearings. Method for monitoring technical state of rolling bearings comprises detection of a defect and point of fault by measuring and analyzing vibration parameters of the operating engine, analyzing vibration parameters and comparing the obtained data with data in the initial state, which is the data obtained for the completely properly operating engine. Spectral vibration analyzing is based on application of window Fourier transform using Gaussian weight functions. Time interval of the signal is divided into subintervals, and conversion is performed for each of them separately obtained set of integrated data from the function, describing time-changes of values of vibration acceleration, is approximated using the trapezoid formula, excess factor releasing informative features of the signal caused by time, frequency and amplitude defects of the rolling bearing is determined.
EFFECT: high accuracy and broader functional capabilities of the methods of vibration diagnostics of rolling bearings.
