FIELD: explosives.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pyrotechnic manufactures, namely to production of initiating explosive substances, particularly to a method for obtaining finely-crystalline lead trinitroresorcinate. The product obtained thereby can be used in application to electronic bridges to transfer detonation in system for electronic control of the deceleration rate, as well as in other structures and systems to transfer impulse. Synthesis is executed by the method for simultaneous draining of a 25 to 30% solution of lead nitrate and an adjusting additive in form of ethyl or isopropyl alcohol to a 7 to 10% solution of magnesium styphnate. The temperature of the reaction mixture is maintained within the range of 64 to 80°C, stirred until a turbulent flow is created with the Reynolds number of Re≥200,000. The solution of lead nitrate should have a pH value of 1.6 to 2.5, the pH value of the magnesium styphnate solution should be 3.8 to 4.3. If required, the solutions are acidified with acetic acid. The ratio of the volumes of the adjusting additive and the magnesium styphnate solution is (0.5 to 0.75):1. The reaction mixture is sustained in the reactor for 2 to 5 minutes.
EFFECT: production of bulk homogeneous finely-crystalline lead trinitroresorcinate in form of single crystals with a size of 10 to 50 microns and a bulk density of 1.1 to 1.5 g/cm3 is ensured.
