To achieve the effect the UE enters RRC_INACTIVE when the UE tries to resume the RRC connection and receives a release or suspend message as a response. In one embodiment, the method comprises stopping a timer associated with mobilityControlInfo, if running, and discarding parameters with mobilityControlInfo upon receiving an RRC release or RRC suspension. In another embodiment, the method comprises discarding information received in a release or suspension message upon receipt of an RRC release or RRC suspension.
EFFECT: invention ensures connection renewal.
