FIELD: polymers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology for protection of the environment, particularly, to polymer compositions for producing sorbents. The composition for a polymer sorbent comprises a carbamide formaldehyde resin, a foaming agent - alkylbenzenesulphonic acid, a hardener - orthophosphoric acid (73%), BHPO coal (a product of biochemical processing of off-grade natural cinder) and water.
EFFECT: reduced brittleness and decreased toxicity of the foamed material, increased efficiency of the sorbent (under conditions of lower temperatures in the Far North) produced from the claimed composition.
