FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power plants and can be used to generate electrical power during light wind or in absence of wind. The wind power plant includes a symmetrical body tapering from the bottom to the top, wherein a hemispherical fairing is installed above said body, guiding surfaces fixed on the body, an annular fairing wherein a multi-blade wind wheel is rigidly fixed on the shaft of an electric generator in electrical communication with an accumulator battery, permanent magnets, an electromagnet, and a magnetic field sensor. The permanent magnets are installed circumferentially in one horizontal plane and with one pole in the direction of the electromagnet at an interval of 30 to 60°. The electromagnet is located at a distance of 5 to 20 mm from the permanent magnets and at an angle of 45 to 90° to the horizontal plane of the permanent magnets.
EFFECT: increased productivity of the wind power plant.
