FIELD: glazing.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a device for glazing a vehicle, namely a car, including glass, as well as a means for ensuring the progressive movement of glass relative to one of the doors of the specified vehicle. The device for glazing the vehicle includes glass, as well as the means for progressive movement of glass relative to the door of the vehicle. Glass is curved and multi-layer and includes at least an outer glass sheet, an inner glass sheet, as well as a plastic sheet located between the specified outer glass sheet and the specified inner glass sheet. Each sheet has a peripheral edge that extends beyond the edge of the specified sheet of plastic material and beyond the edge of the specified outer glass sheet at least on one part of the length of the edge of the specified inner glass sheet. The inner glass sheet is a glass sheet with thickness of 0.40 to 2.10 mm. The edge of the specified inner glass sheet is provided with a protective layer on the part of the length of the edge of the specified inner glass sheet that extends beyond the edge of the specified sheet of plastic material and beyond the edge of the specified outer glass sheet, and, preferably, the edge of the specified inner glass sheet is provided with a protective layer over the entire length of the edge of the specified inner glass sheet, which is located further than the edge of the specified sheet of plastic material and the edge of the specified outer glass sheet. The protective layer is a layer of varnish with thickness of about 0.1-3.0 mm.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide a progressively movable glazing structure, which is not only light but also durable, efficient, easy to manufacture and use.
