FIELD: dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the production of molded products, in particular, for dental reconstruction, as well as for dental restoration or part of it. A workpiece for obtaining a molded product, in particular dental reconstruction, is presented, having a base and at least one section extending from the base and protruding above at least one side of the base, which is in direct contact with protruding sections. The ratio of the thickness B of the base to the height H of the section protruding above the base is 1:15 ≤ B:H ≤ 1:1. At least one section is made with the possibility of obtaining at least part of the molded product from it by processing. A method for obtaining at least one molded product, in particular dental restoration or part of it, is also described.
EFFECT: reduction of tool wear during mechanical processing and the possibility of optimal use of material are achieved.
