FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for analyzing traces of pollutants in cryogenic liquid. The method consists in the fact that known amount of liquid L, which makes up initial liquid, is injected under pressure P into the case (E); a predetermined proportion of liquid present in the case is evaporated when it is heated; steam (13) formed by this is released from an evaporative case to maintain pressure no higher than pressure P during an evaporation phase; the amount of liquid evaporated in this way, which is less than L, is precisely controlled, as a result of which the amount of pollutant in residual liquid present in the case is essentially equal to the amount of initial liquid, which means that its concentration is multiplied by a predetermined coefficient; a sample of residual liquid is taken; after the complete evaporation of the sample of residual liquid, the content of pollutant is measured and the content of pollutant in initial liquid is determined by the measured content of pollutant in residual liquid.
EFFECT: invention provides an alternative for measuring the content of impurities in cryogenic liquid using known analyzers that are easy to operate, the detection limit of which is about 1 ppm.
