SUBSTANCE: subject of the invention is steamer device (4') for heating and/or steaming food products contained in container (2'), on which steamer device (4') is installed, wherein steamer device (4') contains steam generator (5'), which has a steam generating chamber connected to at least one exhaust steam distribution channel made in the lower part of steam generator (5'), wherein steamer device (4') has support surface (7') made with the possibility to be installed on container (2'). In accordance with the invention, support surface (7') has cutout (71') forming output (70') establishing communication between the inner volume of container (2') and the space outside of container (2'), when steamer device (4') is installed on container (2'). The subject of the invention is also electric steamer (1') comprising container (2') for food products to be heated and/or cooked and steamer device (4') with the above-mentioned features.

EFFECT: technical result is obtaining the steamer for steaming food products.
