SUBSTANCE: device (100) for heating food products is disclosed. The device (100) comprises at least one heating chamber (110) and a steam generator (120) with the variable capacity, made with the ability of generating steam. The steam generator (120) with the variable capacity is in fluid communication with at least one heating chamber (110). On the basis of the difference between the temperature measured in the device (100) and the set temperature the capacity of the steam generator (120) with variable capacity can be adjusted so that to achieve the desired heating temperature in the process of heating the device (100).
