CONNECTING DEVICE FOR VALVE FLAPS Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61B17/00 A61B17/68 A61F2/24

Abstract RU 2755393 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: connecting device for valve flaps contains a base that defines the longitudinal axis; the first and the second driven elements extending from the base. The first holder on the first driven element passes from the first driven element in the direction away from the second driven element and from the base to form an acute angle between the first driven element and the first holder to capture the first flap between them. The second holder on the second driven element passes from the second driven element in the direction away from the first driven element and away from the base to form an acute angle between the second driven element and the second holder to capture the second flap between them. The first and the second driven elements are made with the possibility of elastic deformation between: an open state, in which the first imaginary line that intersects a point from which the first holder passes from the first driven element, and runs parallel to the longitudinal axis of the base; and the second imaginary line that intersects a point from which the second holder passes from the second driven element, and runs parallel to the longitudinal axis of the base, are spaced by more than 15 mm, and a closed state, in which the first and the second imaginary lines are spaced by less than 5 mm. A deforming device serves to deform driven elements to the closed state, so that when used: (i) the first and the second driven elements can be passed in the axial direction through a valve, between the first and the second valve flaps, and elastically deformed by opening and closing valve flaps; (ii) the first holder can capture the first flap between the first holder and the first driven element, and the second holder can capture the second flap between the second holder and the second driven element, while the first and the second driven elements are placed between the first and the second flaps; and (iii) the deforming device can deform the first and the second driven elements to the closed state, thereby moving the first and the second flaps to each other. An alternative option of the device implementation is disclosed.

EFFECT: facilitating the connection of valve flaps to each other.
