SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology, in particular to a pharmaceutical composition for use in the treatment of interleukin 18 (hereinafter – IL-18)-related disease or disorder in an individual suffering from such a disease or disorder. A method is disclosed for the treatment of IL-18-related disease or disorder in an individual suffering from such a disease or disorder, in the total body water of which the presence of abnormal levels of free IL-18 that exceed the level of free IL-18 in the total body water of a healthy individual for 5-100% or more than 100% is quantitatively determined.
EFFECT: invention allows for effective treatment of IL-18-related disease.
