FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely, to a method for initializing an ambulatory infusion system. The method includes ensuring the presence of cartridge (5) with a liquid drug containing case (51) and piston (52) tightly and movably installed inside the cartridge case. The method also includes ensuring the presence of dosing device (3) containing dosing pump (30) with dosing cylinder (300) and dosing piston (302) tightly and movably installed inside dosing cylinder (300), and hydraulic distributor (31) with filling hole (310) and outlet (311), switched between a refueling state, in which filling hole (310) is communicated with the internal volume of dosing cylinder (300), and a supply state, alternative to the refueling state, in which the outlet is connected to the internal volume of dosing cylinder (300). The method also includes ensuring the presence of pressure element (61). The method also includes following sequence of stages: a) an initializing pushing force is applied to cartridge piston (52) by means of pressure element (61), thus moving cartridge piston (52) in the direction (X) of its extension inside the cartridge case to the initialization distance; b) the volume of dosing cylinder (300) filled with liquid is increased by moving dosing piston (302), thereby ensuring the suction of the liquid drug from cartridge (5) with the liquid drug into dosing cylinder (300) and further movement of cartridge piston (52) in the direction (X) of its extension inside cartridge case (51) without applying an initializing pushing force.

EFFECT: technical result is initialization of the ambulatory infusion system.
