SUBSTANCE: method for growing edible mushrooms, such as pileate mushrooms, on a commercial site is proposed, according to which cultivation occurs in accordance with a cultivation cycle that sequentially contains one or more preparatory phases and one or more harvest phases. The site contains at least a set of cultivation compartments, wherein this set contains the first cultivation compartment, the second cultivation compartment and the third cultivation compartment. The cultivation cycle is distributed among these at least three cultivation compartments by moving the cultivation from the first cultivation compartment, in which at least one preparatory phase occurs, to the second cultivation compartment, wherein at least one harvest phase occurs in the second cultivation compartment, and then to the third cultivation compartment, in which at least one harvest phase occurs.

EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of collecting mushrooms for a long period of time, without having a negative impact on the rotation between cultivation compartments and without increasing the risk of diseases.
