FIELD: drying.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of drying products. Proposed is a unit for drying paste-like materials in a swirled suspended layer of polydisperse inert bodies, containing a biconical chamber, a separation chamber, a spinneret feeder for wet material, a layer of polydisperse inert bodies, a drum with tangential heat carrier inputs and a central cone, an outlet central pipe, and a centrifugal classifier with an electrical drive. A rotating ring with a separate electric drive with a controlled number of revolutions is installed on the outlet central pipe, configured to move vertically, wherein the rotating ring has slots in the upper part thereof, intended for passage of the target part of the air suspension separated by the classifier from the primary air suspension flow removed from the drying unit.
EFFECT: invention ensures intensification of the drying process.
